NIIKSOKOWAIKS MY RELATIVES 2023
Niiksokowaiks (nsikso'kowaiks & nikso'kowaiksi) refers to "my relatives," "my relations," "my extended family." Grounded in Aamskapi Pikuni & Siksikaitsitapi ways of knowing, this solo dance work/offering investigates familial lineages, dispossession, embodied histories, and relationships to land and the more than human.
